If they use Shaun Rogers it could be a double disc game!

What in the world is tiered play-calling for defense and should I be mad that it won't be included in 2010? By it's name I have no clue what that is LOL.
Coaches & players call plays in tiers. They call the fronts, stunts, blitzes & coverages separately, allowing for any combination of those elements. Madden lumps it all together in one call, allowing only the combinations they provide.

Madden will have something like 4-3 Normal Cover 1, and it will be a 4-3 front, weak OLB blitz, man coverage with a FS playing deep middle. Well, what if I don't want to blitz and I want to double the TE instead? Or what if I want to blitz my strong OLB instead? Or what if I want to run a stunt. Or what if I want to use that same strategy from a 4-3 under look?

So, if you've been OK with EA's limited combinations, no need to worry. But if you find yourself looking for combinations that aren't there, or find yourself wishing you could tweak the combinations EA provided, then this is a big deal. Like my sig says, it could be a game breaker for me.

Yup. But I'm not sure they separated stunts from blitzes. I haven't played in a long while.
