What's the best Madden game ever?

Madden 08 (360) I think it had the perfect blend of graphics and gameplay. Before all that morph and time shift tackling arose in '09. The grass looks like grass, not some ****ing rug. The player models I think look great. Yea, some of them are a little big, but I like to 6'5" 250lb Big Ben actually look big and not like some toothpick
(Madden '10). I also think they got the speed of the game perfect. Not as stupid fast as '09, but not as stupid slow as '10.

Madden 05 & 06 were pretty much the same game. Id say 06 though because it was the last time I had fun with my Franchise, until this year that is.

But you have to give Madden 2001 on the PS2 some props too. I know that all of you, like me, were amazed to see that first PS2 Madden game. It looked mind blowingly unreal to what we had on the PS1. I was more blown away by the transition from Playstation to PS2 than the transition from PS2 to the supposedly all time great Next Gen PS3.

And Madden 98 get honorable mention. The first Madden game that I was able to play and win on the All Madden setting. This game was also ahead of its time by having NO PLAYER OVERALLS. Just skill specific ratings. I think i remember Carolinas Lamar Lathon being a beast at pass rushing.

'94 was good.
'98 was good. I think that was the first time a Franchise was added. I thought that was awesome, and oddly enough, the franchise seemed to work better than most games today do.
'00 was good. The Rams were killer!
'01 for PS2 was awesome in terms of the jump it made

'10 is probably the best ever though. Here's to hoping '11 tops it.
