no problem. I just used the link posted earlier and went through every teams first round picks and then put up the ones that were not very successful. I tried to stay away from guys I knew weren't in the game but that can be hard.

I would be curious to know what you end up with because this sounds like a pretty fun way to play. Once you get a full roster could you post who you end up with?

All joking aside, unless you're Chad Pennington, arm-strength is NOT a defining attribute. Otherwise, I can name quite a few guys over the years who would not be successful:
Kurt Warner
Tony Romo
Drew Brees
Phillip Rivers
Steve Young
Do you want me to keep going? Seriously though, Leinart hasn't had much of a chance to show himself. It takes time in the NFL to be successful and he's had an aging (but terribly underrated) former 2-time MVP standing over his shoulder for the past couple years. Now if Leinart doesn't do anything in a few more years, then you can label him a bust. But come on, he's barely played a complete season in the NFL.
He's had more starts then Rodgers in Greenbay..... you tell me who you would rather have....?

true - but at that point busts hadn't been defined in this thread - I personally think s/he forgot Alex Smith was already written

To Chuckmonts - Phillip Buchanon played quite well last year, and up to this point in the current season, and Pacman also looks like he may not be a bust...skill-wise at least

Re: The All Bust Team

The lists so far are a beauty. Only, we lack depth on several positions.

We do have a to of QB, RB, WR and CB potential busts.

What we need more are FB, TE, G, T, DE, DT, LB(!) and S ...

If we can complete that, this might as well be the best franchise experience to have

On TE, Ben Troupe comes to mind. Round2 (40th overall). Was released by the Bucs but already picked by the Seahawks I think.

So, anyone who can provide missing positions, your're additions will be very welcomed...

Re: The All Bust Team

Make sure Odell Thurman is your starting MLB. He is a bust on so many levels.

Finally, though he's never really been given a chance to do much, you might add Cowboys' MLB Bobby Carpenter. Not sure I've ever seen him play anything other than special teams.
