Are there in game injures that last?

I miss the year that Madden had "career ending" injuries a part of the game. Now we can't get injuries for more than a quarter or a game? What's up with that?

Before this game sucked the life out of me I was in week 12 with a running back out for 9 weeks and a wideout done for the season. I also had some 1-3week injures along the way. Also saw the CPU players get hurt during my game played and out for time, but I did have a lot of "will return" injures. Bring back the slider for injuries.

to me it seems like the lack of anything past that game injry dosent happen..

I just lost one of my offensive lineman for the season. I think his name is like Paul McQuistan or something like that. Somehow I missed this during my game though...?

Play online, you'll see many season ending injuries...

LOL, are you even reading this thread? There have been several examples of players being lost for longer than "a quarter or a game" posted in this very thread. And Madden still has career ending injuries, BTW. I saw one in my first season of franchise mode (Mario Williams...damn shame).
