Am I the only one that doesn't care about online franchise?

How about instead of preferring online or offline modes, we just push forward the expectation that EA should give us both modes? The last thing we need is people to give them an excuse to not work on something.

Let's not forget that EA is only worth about $250+ billion dollars. It's not like they don't have the resources.

a) don't have to worry about finding a time when both the cpu and I can play

b) don't have to worry about online lag

c) don't have to worry about the cpu "cheesing"

d) don't have to find 31 people that are going to stay interested in my franchise and see it through to the end

e) don't have to worry about the cpu pulling the plug simply because he's losing

Those are my reasons. I have nothing against online play and understand that there are others who enjoy it, but online play is not for me.

I agree 100%. CPU does get repetitive "Boring" at times.

I can careless about franchise online but, then again I never tried it before. Who knows I might like it? Anyways, I love to play "SIM" opponents online. It is indeed very very fun to play. Win or lose. It is just getting harder and harder to find more SIM players online today. It seems like there are nothing but "cheesers" online. I am tired of "stooping" to their level in order to win a game. >>

All of these problems can be solved by playing with "SIM" gamers. I will challenge anyone here with a PS3 that if they join MY online dynasty (if possible) with my friends and I that they will not say On-Line franchise is 10x better than playing the CPU.

I wanted to get into one in NCAA but don't know many local players, plus a lot of players arent as sim as me which pisses me off, If I could find a nice sim online franchise in madden I would DEFINATLY get involved, it would definatly be something I would do but finding people who play properly was a challenge in both games in 09 so I just kinda said f it, I don't add a lot of xboxlive friends even though I somewhat enjoy playing online.

Currently offline franchise is my main focus.

All good points, however I know JJ & Capnkill run some very good Leagues, very professional, they run smoothly & take very little time to develop, games are easy to schedule, it's just so much better, IMO, much better to play Madden with a bunch of people you know than to play with your self...
