Re: What happen to scaling ratings?

Keep in mind: 55+ Players x 32 Teams = A lot of players.

There is A LOT of good/great players in the NFL. Trust me ratings have been scaled. A good example I know is a certain player whose OVR in Madden 09 was somewhere around a high 60, is now around a high 30 OVR.

I hope guys like tom and drew won't have top arm strength just because they are considered elite QBs.

I hope AD won't be given like a 97 trucking rating, he is a strong runner but when compared with the truely powerful backs in the league he isn't really up there.

I hope fitz doesn't have high 90s speed, speed isn't really the main part of his game. He should probably be low 90s in this area.
Fitz shouldn't even break 90 on speed, IMO. Close to it though.

But realistically, Fitz isn't that fast. That's the hole in his game, so to speak.

He should be like, low to mid 80's speed imo.

Re: What happen to scaling ratings?

It would be cool to see default players with their weakness and strenght(imo the point of ratings lol) but I have a feelin they will overrate Fitz speed becuz of his Moss like ability...if anything hus catch and catch in traffic rating should be 99 lol

Re: What happen to scaling ratings?

If they are gonna hand out 99 ovr's then there should only be MAYBE 5 Tops if ANY.

I hope the ratings further down the depth charts and across different teams REALLY shows. but i think the biggest question is still progression and how it is really gonna work and factor in thru several seasons.
