Who creates players?

I used to put myself in at running back... through my football career, I've never been brought down by a single tackler, and i made certain to reflect that in Madden.

But after I tore my ACL I moved myself to Safety. I always know where the ball is, I'll fight any receiver for it, and I read offenses like a book. Furthermore, I'm tall, quick, and ain't afraid of running full force at any and everyone.

I create myself as a better than average RB, but not great and throw him into the free agent pool. Through franchise I keep an eye on who picked him up, if he's starting, check on his stats stuff like that. Over the seasons its interesting to see his progress and failures.

I created superstars for superstar mode, but never players for regular franchises.

I'll recreate Vick too... lets see. Throwing strength 98, accuracy 33, over 55. I know Im being generious. Theres not a Dog Drowning stat is there?

Never, it detracts from the realism if I start creating players. If they're in the league and playable....then they better do that in a roster update, otherwise it's not for me.

Now that he's no longer on a Madden cover, he shouldn't be breaking any more legs at least... Assuming he can still run like he used to, his OVR would be higher than 55. He'd make a reasonable backup I think, and could add a little excitement if a starter gets his bell rung.

Honestly I'd be curious to see how he'd perform on an offense not designed around him taking off with the ball at every conceivable opportunity. He might do poorly, but then again, he might not. Randall Cunningham in 1998...
