Who creates players?

I've always created myself as a RB. A good mix of power and speed-5'11, 230. Similar to Fred Taylor, or Jamal Lewis.
But this year I'm very torn, because I want to play as Adrian Peterson so bad. That guy is awesome! But, with Madden shaping up to be awesome itself, I have to CAP this year.
Either way, this looks like it'll be the first football game since 05 that I actually play a full season of. If it's really good, I may play 2 or 3!

I think I made Pacman when he wasn't in 08. I've also edited draftees before (name/school/equip), but I don't usually create players.

Sometimes I create myself, give myself "meh" attributes except for maybe, say, throwing power with decent accuracy to go with it, then drop myself in the pool of free agents.

The furthest my created self made it was as the back-up for the Cowboys, where he won a Superbowl Ring. He even got to play in the the third quarter and half of the fourth, where he threw the game-capping TD (I always spectate the Superbowl).

Brought me to tears.

Wow that's a sweet idea. I'm gonna have steal it and make a random player and see how his career turns out.

I love to create players. I like to create some of the all time great players that have ever played the game. Players like Jerry Rice, Deion $anders, Bo Jackson, etc. Do you guys think someone will do a create-a-player list like NFLHITMAN did for all pro football?

I think that it would be cool if everyone chipped in some of there favorite players or even create some of their favorite teams of all time like the 94 49ers, 95 Cowboys, etc. You know some of the legends teams that where in last generations games.
