Madden 10 Blocking - Worst in next gen history?

they are conclusive proof that its broken. Thats how you point something out with video. If you cant see it, you never will, or you dont care too. Thats fine, but for some people they dont enjoy it and this is the only up to date NFL game for them out there.

I really wish people can hold out and just not buy it. I did, its not that bad, but i will always come here to see what improvements they are trying to make in hope of EA getting to that next level in NFL gaming. It may not happen, but i am a hardcore football nut, so i am going to always keep an eye on it.

all you that are complaining are you rushing stats really bad are you getting beat on line??? what is the problem is it everytime? because like I said I have ran for over 1700 yards in 15 weeks with AP and my OL ratings suck!! I have had a few games where I go 25 for 70 and a few where I go 17 for 140, it seems pretty good to me, but when i get out of work I'm going straight home and going to replay every play so I can see how bad it is so I can be a l like the rest of you Madden Hatrers... go play 2k.. the only 2k I played was the one with TO on the cover TWO COPIES BOTH BROKE IN MY PS2, thats what I get for spending 20 bucks on a football game..

actually my problem with rushing is that i am trying to follow the way the blocks are supposed to go; silly me. i guess i could try and go all "guitar hero" and try and hit the random holes that open but i'm getting older and my fingers don't move that fast. this does not happen all the time, but enough for it to be an issue.

its not about the stats. im usually throwing so my rbs rushing stats are average (im 8 games in and he has like 450-600 yards.) but when i do run the ball stuff like this happens almost every play.

It never fails in thread 3,000 about blocking, some guy comes in talking about stats are how great they are running the ball. Its not about stats, its about logic or the lack there of.

exactly , i dont care about the stats right now. i jst want realism, or even just something remotely close to that where my lineman have some common sense and look like they have played more than 1 game of football.

Good videos. I have to say that I am pretty disappointed in the run blocking this year. Especially considering that blocking was one aspect of the game that was to be looked at considerably (maybe it was just pass blocking).

As much as it pissed me off the see my players missing assignments or picking the wrong guy to block downfield, it has an even worse effect on the cpu run game. The cpu runners already lack adequate logic to to navigate around the line of scrimmage and pick holes to run through, so all the blocking logic gaffes only amplify these deficiencies.
