These are just a few team tendency numbers from Football Outsiders from last year. I would love to see something like this implemented into Coaching Strategy where we could actually change the tendencies ourselves.

Even better would be if they could do a DNA type feature that would update throughout the year based off how team's are playing.

I play on All-Pro and have for the past 9 years. All-Madden has always over-compensated for the game's flaws by doing super-natural things. The AI isn't smart enough to really out-strategize me, so on All-Madden the computer makes their players do things above their realistic ability to make it overly competitive. It also unrealistically dumbs down my own players to a point where I have to figre out a way to force them follow the fundamentals instead of getting into the game.

I don't play madden to exploit the flaws in the CPUs AI, so I can get very realistic matchups and results while still providing a fun challenge.


In fact, I'd argue that the people who see the most unrealistic things in this game would be those who play on All-Madden. However, for the sake of this thread, the CPU still blitzes too much and can't cover the flats on All-Pro.

Just so we're all clear, I think the main gripe in this thread is that the blitzing makes getting the ball to a wide open receiver TOO EASY, not the other way around.

I don't care if I'm blitzed all game, but it has to make some kind of remote sense, even if that sense is that of a 7 year old, he still knows not to blitz both corners every time.

While not wanting to clog the thread by quoting the big stats thing, id like to say that the Madden team should buy the Football Outsiders almanac.
It pretty much does all the team analysis/style of play work for them
