Is it too much to ask for cheese-free ONLINE games?

Exactly. There's nothing in the game that isn't unstoppable. If you can't stop it, practice and figure out how to. I'm not a cheeser, but there is no better feeling than shutting one down and watching as they self destruct trying to call actual plays.

You shouldn't expect anything less from online ranked games. You play to win the game. Hello?!?

I run about close to 20+ different plays in online games...those screens are in it, but i dont run it every play...same with hb direct...

with HB direct, i have one rule...i run it ONE..ONE time in a game...no more than once...its a nice play, but i play straight, sim style football...my game is based on x's and o's...nothing glitch made (not bitch made, but glitch made...like everyone else online with these 233-2 records)

I also am going to grind another ax right now too. Anyone that doesn't think that developers should listen to the hardcore/tournament community is only asking for a glitchy game. Yes, people from the TML and other hardcore sites find this stuff. Yes, most will try to take it to a tournament to win with it under the assumption that no one else knows. Once these tactics though are exposed to the rest of the community our "competition committee" so to speak will address and ban tactics from tournament play.

Now if you'll notice down at the bottom right hand side you'll see I have over 3,000 views to my arena. I do not believe that OS wants to ban a guy that draws that many people into his arena and blog. Say what you want, but what I write and talk about attracts attention from the Madden community.

For you to say TML or I "sux" and that we're "idiots" is just blasphemy. You're really just make yourself look foolish along with EA right now, which almost has me wondering if you don't work for them.

what isn't cheese to you guys. the slot screen can be stopped with man to man coverage bump. the fl screen can be stopped with cover 2 zone or man with a de contain. in fact i actually picked off a flanker screen today running cover 2 zone because i spotlighted the wr and knew it was coming. the hb direct can be easily stopped by overloading the side of the field with linebackers and crashing your line so he can't breeak it to the outside. how about you learn to play defense instead of calling everything you can't stop "cheese".

Its Keelhauled( i believe)...and he does raise some good points. I just dispise cheezer/exploiters regardless of why they play the way they do. Cant win any other way if you ask me. Madden PROMOTES this style of play 100%....Why the hell is it still there 8 years later? To keep "those" people happy since that is how they play.

Personally, "THEY" need their own cheezy game made just for them. Simple play design...just slap a EA BIG logo on it and call it a day.

I think it great they play for money....but that crap has been slowly KILLING the madden franchise for years. Wish EA would actually realize that.....At least I THOUGH iAN AND cO. DID...guess i was wrong.

Off topic, as a fellow fire fighter...much respect. But i CAN NOT say the same for the crap that TML produces....PURE rubbish.

PS....i find the screens to be the easiest to counter, i have no issues here. Its the quitting and the overall LACK of any type of sportsmanship or knowledge of the game (the game of football that is).

children of the cheese are running wild online, if its ranked i just try to tolerate it and get the W, other than that i play from a friend list and play in franchise with straight up players. I Play with philly but running around with vick all day gets old, maybe a wildcat here and there, but nothing over the top, it gets predicatable.i played a little cheese ball yesterday who vicked me the whole game till the fourth when i magically stopped him, i told him i let u do it all game, now it was time to mind and obey me lol. just learn how to stop the cheese balls moves and it will bite them in the end
