Yes, you can use custom playbooks in franchise mode with Madden 2005. I dont think the create a playbook feature is all that different in 2005 than it is in the later versions. I basically stopped paying attention to this feature once they stopped allowing us to use it in franchise mode beacuse it pretty much became useless to me. Nobody seems to really know why they ever took the option to use it in franchise mode out.

I got Madden 2005, this is the best video game ever made. How can EA Sports digress in NG? I guess since there no competition they can just feed us crap for now on
