Prediction: Patch Comes Out Before Thanksgivings

Agreed, it's a playable and a fun game. I'm just upset at the developers for not following through on the blog or patch notes we were supposed to get when it was submitted to Sony and Microsoft.

All the other EA Sports Games (NHL, NBA live, Fight Night, FIFA, etc) have received patches, what is holding this up?

We aren't going to see a blog until they get word that the patch has passed in full. They're not going to want to release any info that could potentially not make the cut. With that said when we see a blog pop up it'll likely be a sure a sign that the patch is going to drop that day or the next. Before Thanksgiving would be nice but the clock is ticking pretty fast on that one.

For me the only real problem I had with the game was the lack of QB sacks, otherwise the game was enjoyable and kept my attention until the hockey season started and the release of NHL 10, and then basketball came out and NBA 2k10.
I just check os for information on the 2nd patch. I hope that it will be a peace maker for all of us who want a real simulation, oops! I mean as close to the real game as possible. it was painful to play franchise mode and watch DeMarcus Ware sack totals go down to 2 or 3 for the season.
But while waiting for the new patch I have found other games to keep me going until the new one is released.
So next august I will have to refrain from buying the next game until there is enough information on it from the OS community.

I don't think it will be out before Thanksgiving (I wish it would come out before that), but I do think it will be out before Christmas . I predict it comes out the first or second week of December .

I have decided just not to play the game anymore until this patch comes out. Heck, I have NCAA 10 basketball, football, NHL 10 and NBA 2K10 to keep me busy anyway. I am going to focus on those games to take my mind off of Madden. But, it is tough not to play an NFL game in the middle of NFL season. Maybe I should play NFL 2K5 again, lol. Actually this years Madden is pretty solid, but it just needs that patch (for me at least) to make it very fun, imo.
