Re: Using Inactive Players Online

i understand what everyone is sayin but, the current system does not make sense. if you increase and decrease ratings online every week for real life performances, then how can injured players be available? if ea updates everyone else based on performance than why not injured players? ranked games should not have injured players available. playing with injured players online should be for unranked games only. when i played 2k9 i never herad anyone complain about them making injured players unavailable. basketball has a 12 man roster and people just made adjustments accordingly. you have way more flexibility in football. i understand what everyone els is saying, im just believe that only for online RANKED games, injuries should not allow a player to be available

I dont mind people using the players.

My pet peeve is playbook switching.

Nothign is more silly then seeing the damn Titans with a run and gun play book and running the 3-4.

I wont play people who do it, because it just screams, "I cant play with this playbook and I need my money plays."

I'm sure in some cases it isnt, but Id rather not be bothered finding out.

If I play online, I want all the best players out on the field and should expect nothing less than that. I mean, I'm sim, but if I play online with cheesers and quitters, than I already know I'm getting into a hack game to begin with, so at least let me have some weapons. But I mean, if you gonna pick a team solely because you assume the other team has injuries weakening at a position, not only do I think thats bull but I think that makes you a win/ranking whore and no different than any other hack player out there, forget the fact you playing like an 70s team with an high 80s team. Basically you want the playing field stacked so the other guy cant compete with you, and I dont think that fair either.
ALL people pick the team that they think gives them the best chance at a win. Be it due to the fact that that particular team has speedy players, a good D, or you just run with them well. No one plays online to lose. The purpose of playing online is to win, unless you are labbing with a buddy. Personally, I like to beat the crap out of guys that I dont know. I never have to hear from them again, and I love the messages they send when I stop their constant HB tosses and gay, 360 screen passes. I get called a cheater! Lol. I have only played 52 total games of Madden online. It's really not that serious. I am a level 6 guy. Far from a ranking whore.

Which is why I usually dont start a chise until the season is over. In my past chises, when I played during the actual season and one of my guys went down IRL I'd bench him to see how I could play without him. Even online, if I am playing with a team that has inactive players I dont let them see the field. I didnt even know that the game would recognize them if you put them on the depth chart. Lol. If I start putting IR guys in for online play I'd feel like a cheeser. Why? Because everyone else does it...

Why?

Teams change philosophies all the time.

I don't believe real life teams are as static with their gameplans as they are in Madden.

I playbook switch and I am well sim.

The reason I do it is because I played through a season with the Detroit Lions for the challenge, but I'm not going to play with them online, sorry. So I got to learn their offensive playbook and found what run plays work best to my strengths, same with pass plays. If you deem them money plays so be it, but I found a gameplan with the playbook that works with me, and to me thats what matters.
