Re: *Official Madden NFL 11 Info Thread*

Hi,

I am new to posting on the forum but an avid reader of everything Operation sports. I am a HUGE video game football fan (especially 2k5 and madden 2005) so as you can guess I have been disappointed with the most recent Maddens.

My disappointment has not only stemmed from the "sam ol game" complaints but also the feeling that the PS3 version is just a port of the game that runs on 360. I am not trying to start a flame war for systems but I have noticed things that just piss me off because I pay the same 60 bucks that my friend with a 360 pays.

My major example drives me crazy, in Madden 10 when the QB throws the ball on PS3 it has this UGLY glitch where the ball is either going through his hand or a foot away from his hand during the windup. This may sound small compared to other issues but nothing breaks the feeling of being "in" the game more than watching a replay and seeing this time in and time out. Does anyone know if this has been looked at?

Also, in connection to this issue I wonder if they have updated stances and throwing motions for short medium and deep routes. If you look at apf 2k8 they have totally differnt feels when you are throwing a different pass....just thought I would ask about that.

I really don't know if this has been brought up before; Is Madden 11 going to allow us to edit player's heights and weights like it has been for the last 10 plus years? Or is it going to shaft us again. There is seriously nothing more dissapointing than going into edit player and not finding the following things such as, height, weight, builds(like before you all know what I'm talking about).

Please if someone knows this can they answer.

This.

I want complete control over the rosters. If I'm paying $60 for this, I think that's the least I can ask. Throw in, while you're at it, the ability to create more than three flippin' players, too.

??? I'm pretty sure you can create more than three plays since I created at least 5.

I was being [slightly] sarcastic. In 10, you could only create a handful of players before they wouldn't show up because EA imposes a stupid CAP cap.
