How many of you have actually played football?

I played for 15 years, 9-24 years old. Played WR/DB in high school and played WR Div I-A in the Big 12. But I mostly played special teams in college.

Played QB/DB in High School. Played 1 year of juco where I moved from QB to WR, then went on to play D-1A ball at WR.

Now I play flag in a 35 and over league with all the other washed up has beens.

I played 2 years in Junior High and 3 in HS. Missed my whole freshman year when I tore my ACL in the first game of the year. My sophomore and Junior year I played JV and Varsity, didn't start Varsity though. Then my senior year I got much bigger, and started at Right Guard. I played every offensive play except one. Turned my ankle and had to come out for a play. I was first team all conference. I pulled almost every play as we ran a lot of traps. I gave up no sacks my senior year. Had some offers to play at some small colleges, but decided to play baseball instead.

I played 6 years (middle and high school). I played OL and played all the spots but Center over those years. I started off at LT from 7th grade through 9th grade, then moved to RT in 10th grade, finally got moved in to RG (and LG after an injury to our starting LG) for 11th/12th grade.

I miss playing every now and then (usually during football season). I kind of wish that I could have tried out playing DT at some point.
