Now that they have tweaked the catching with the footwork and the animations. Will this also translate over to the challenge system with the AI being able to recognize where the ball actually should be spotted or where a WR actually stepped out of bounds?

Are there problems with spotting the ball? I haven't ran into this problem, though I have ran into the occasional odd sideline call.

Has there been any mention whether or not they are fixing the Touchdown glitch? Its the one where you catch a pass in the endzone and get tackled, but the AI challenges it and you get 1st and goal from the 1 yard line. I have had it happen around 10 times now and every time the WR caught the ball in the endzone and never stepped out of it. I had it happen also from a 3rd and goal and it went from 3rd and goal, TD, 1st and goal. How does that work?

yes spotting the ball was an issue at times when you caught the ball clearly in bounds near the sidelines and was ruled out of bounds. Also if you use a replay you can clearly see at times when you have crossed the first down yardage but still never gets reversed

i hate that glitch so much.

They also need to fix the fact that you cannot challenge whether something was a forward pass or a fumble. The challenge system is one of the most broken things in this game.

This hurt the game alot for me last year. The challenge calls were useless sometimes and the spotting of the ball was real bad. Sometimes they would call me out of bounds and i wasnt close. I wish someone would atleast address us and let us know if this problem was fixed.
