I really wish they could get this right, And if they would add how many superbowls that player has been to. But it would say also hes had a great career but havnt won the big game in his career.

Yes sir...pathetic indeed. I'm looking forward to August 2nd when I get back to the states and can fire up Madden 2005. It may not be a perfect game, but with the current state of things, it definitely doesn't have to be.

When in fact Rodgers would be around 34-35 and on the down swing of his career and the team he is on would be actively looking for his successor, and the next great Packers QB.
Yeah, and things like 'Peyton Manning is not one of the most accurate QB's in the league, but...' (can't remember the exact lines but I've heard somethings like that)

What an amazing player _____ turned out to be. I remember when he was coming out of college no one thought he would be an amazing player. Look at how many LB's that were taken before him in that draft that became busts (then a list pops up on the screen)."

My version:

..and (DeSean Jackson), the (3rd) year (WR) out of (California) has really come a long way since being taken in the (2nd round) of the (2008 NFL Draft). He already has (one Pro Bowl) under his belt, and is the (first person to make Pro Bowl at two different positions in the same year). A lot of people in the (Eagles) organization are expecting BIG things out of him this season.

I know it's a matter of wording, but I feel like that sounds slightly more natural in a commentary sense. Not hating on his post at all, but I feel as if wording is CRUCIAL to sounding fluid.
I get what you are saying..yeah, your example is just like what I was trying to say. They really need this in the game.

haha thanks for having my back, but I got what Davey was tryin to say. I would hope that Madden would be able to have this type of commentary for the generated rookies it has too, not just the actual players.

Seriously, I meant no harm by what I said...it was just a different take, using your idea and attempting to put it in what I feel Madden CAN do, because I don't believe we'll ever have the diverse commentary you, me and every other fan hopes for. Knocking on wood that I'm wrong though.

If the OP wasn't offended, how come some of you other people were? Jeez..It's a message board...you know, for talking..Sorry for doin' that.

Re: Player bio and history info--player specific commentary

Definitely agree with what you guys are saying. Collinsworth shouldn't say the same things about every QB - we all know the canned lines I'm talking about. I know in 2k10 they have specific things they bring up about the careers of certain star players and even some role players. Something like that is needed instead of COllinsworth talking about how X QB has a "cannon arm" or whatever mess he says all the time.
