Same here I do not see a problem. I have noticed a lot of what people are complaining about is mainly online. Not everything just for the most part.

If sliders can aid it then there really is no need for a patch.

Interestingly enough, first game after reading this thread I returned a kick for a touchdown with Wes Welker. All that I did was return middle, and a huge whole opened up on the left side. Welker took all the way without being touched...

I have returned several kick offs for six, maybe six or seven, in around 25 games. At least half of those have been on OTP with a couple of good user blocks coming from the weak side and poor coverage from the opposite team.

I have only returned one punt for a TD, which was awesome, BTW. It was my first user vs user game in my OF and I broke a couple tackles with Pacman and reversed the field and took it to the house 65 yds. Ended up whooping the Ravens 41-7. I scored half of those points on defense and and the punt return.

Sorry to get off topic, but I had to gloat somewhere. On topic, I feel like the returns are pretty balanced for the most part. Like several posters have mentioned, the best strategy is to start in the middle and then try to bounce outside. I've had to break a couple tackles every time I've returned one, but that seems pretty realistic to me.

Well said Tyrant. I have seen no issues with kick returns. I have not ventured online yet so maybe the issue soley lies there.

kickoffs are fine for me. I played about 20 demo games and 15 retail games, and I have 1 KR touchdown (Stefan Logan) and 1 PR touchdown (Josh Cribbs) and average about 20 yards a return, with that being my average field position.

If you play with a threshhold below 50 & sliders it is far to easy. Any guy over a 91 Speed can be elite. Jordy Nelson and Tramon Blackmon I have returned 9 kicks with them in 7 Exhibition games.

The Shortest return Ive ever had with DeSean jackson is 41 yards thats three games worth of Kick returning.

For those wondering I use MikesOwnz sliders, from the slider forum, The slow speed 70 threshold sliders except I play 60 threshhold unless Im in chise.

Overall Return middle is the most effective but I have returned over 15 kicks for touchdowns and around 5-8 punts. I usually play with teams who have elite returners. Hester, cribbs, J.Charles, D-jack, Jacoby Ford, f.jones

With that being said with mikes sliders I have averaged around 22-27 yard per return. & I have only one return and it was far more realistic and rewarding, I caught the ball around the hash and broke towards the sidelines slashed through the shooters & wings, then around the 40 yard line I let go of turbo and and kinda back juked and changed direction towards the middle of the field I juked a guy with a quick juke and then I had to beat the back side coming off blocks through the seam up the middle/opposite hash side of the field and then it was just a footrace, I had to high step twice and I got tackled in the endzone
