Re: Integration of Head Coach into Madden

I enjoyed Head Coach 09 to an extent. I liked the first Head Coach a lot more. But what we have to realize that Head Coach is a different experience than Franchise mode. In Head Coach, you don't have full control. You have to meet goals set by the owner and GM, which dulled the experience for me. Also, the menu's got to be a bit much after awhile. In Franchise Mode, you have full control. And for those of us that control more than one team, the kind of Free Agency that Head Coach has would be difficult/impossible to do. Franchise might be more dumb than Head Coach, but it's much more friendly for multi-team users.

You are the first person I have ever heard say that.

I thought the first version was awful. I loved the idea's behind the game, but the execution was terrible.

I liked that you actually had an office and had to attend meetings where coaches gave their input on certain players. You actually got to go onto the practice field and see them in action and motivate them if need be. I liked the draft in the first one more than 09, too. The first Head Coach was an overall more enjoyable experience for me.

Re: Integration of Head Coach into Madden

the heads of the company will never allow this it would be to hard for the average gamer.
the solution is very easy make 2 games
1- keep madden the way they are pushing it as a pick up and play game
2- Make NFL head coach but allow the user to control the players and have it be completely SIM
i think it would be a better idea than making NFL blitz and madden when Madden is EAs version of blitz
