How does the Lockout affect you in regards to Madden 12?

Theoretically speaking, if the lockout does cost the season, or at least a significant number of weeks lost it would be pretty sweet if franchise mode started at the point of: lockout has just ended, free agency is now open, etc... So basically we start in the offseason instead of just having the same rosters to start the season

I'll buy both Madden and NCAA anyway. But if some games or the entire season is cancelled (which I don't believe will happen) that will mean no roster updates. And that would be annoying.

getting madden only if there a lot done which sounds like it already but if the lockout still in place no effect on getting madden

only thing effect me getting madden is madden
if they add a lot things like they saying they are i will buy madden

Looks like I'm in the minority on this, but the lockout is souring me on the NFL. If a deal isn't done, I'm not buying Madden or any other NFL products this year.

Seems weird that in just 3 months I went from purchasing Super Bowl champion memorabilia like a mad man to being ready to cancel my NFL ticket and turn my attention to Saturday games without a second thought.

the lockout is keeping me from getting excited about this years game me and my friends play a franchise for about 2-3 years then look to get the new one.its that time when we usually start looking at the new game but if the nfl has different rules than madden i have no interest in this version
