What Position Do You Control on Defense

Middle linebacker unless I'm running the 3-4, then I roll with a OLB because I find it harder to disrupt anything from the middle in a 3-4 because none of the D-linemen take on a double team like they're supposed to.

I play with the MLB because you can heavily impact the run game or the passing game without the pressure of being the last line of defense as a safety. Plus its a lot easier covering TEs than WRs in man coverage.

lol im good at that too , so I try and user control a player that may NOT have an impact on the play.

Actually in madden 10-11 I got pretty good a the Dline but in madden 12 demo and ncaa 12 I just cant seem to get it right so I have been forced to switch to a LB (so now passes over the middle are pretty much money plays now) lol

Nothing is more pleasing to me than hit sticking a QB with my DE , only to see my DE hit the QB late, allowing a TD pass and my DE getting carted off the field

FS was boss last year even with the broken defense, with the bad zone defense and 0 passs rush.
It was even more fun in the demo now that cpu front 4 gets a pass rush.

I have kind of an odd technique I think. I tend to use the weakest lb on the field. As long as he has decent to average speed, I can make them pro bowl caliber and then the cpu is free to use my actual pro bowlers.

I usually go with linebacker, but for the last couple of Madden games I've gone with a defensive end exclusively.

For me It depends on the team. When the Eagles had Brian Dawkins , I used him 100% of the time. Now , I love Nate Allen , but I will be using Jaiqwaun Jarrett at all times. So in that reguards Saftey.

Last year when I used tampa Bay , seeing as how Tanard Jackson was suspended , I used Barret Ruud. That was fun , I just prefer saftey position. I have no clue what Im going do this year with Tampa defensivley. Mason Foster? Im not a huge fan of TB's safety group this year...Cody Grimm and Sean Jones...meh.
