I am just stating I have enjoyed both football games from EA this year, nothing is perfect and I have not had some of the issues that some are complaining about.

I am having a blast playing and hope everyone else is too....
NO ONE HAS EVER EXPECTED MADDEN TO BE PERFECT!

What people do expect:
3+ year legacy issues/bugs to be fixed.
An overhyped mode that hasn't been touched in 3 years to finally get an update.
Things from "that other football game", such as head/ball tracking, WR/DB & OL/DL interactions, football fundamentals per position, etc, to finally be implemented correctly in Madden after 6 years of waiting.

Basically, we just want the bugs fixed and for the gameplay to finally add these long-needed features that a 6 year old game had.

Maybe just Maybe some people need to LOWER thier expectations to some level of reality...its still just a game and will NEVER meet everyones expectations.....

I am standing over here for
Like I said in another thread. It is a game, but it's not a free game. People expect the game to be bug free when the company releases it. The fact that EA releases the game knowing it has bugs is enough to send someone into a tirade. Every other game that is released gets put to task for bugs and glitches, so why shouldn't Madden. If people are really bothered by this, Proboards offers free customizable forums if you'd like to make a community where no one can say anything bad about Madden. Unless, you like calling people out and starting arguments...

It's like people expect a new game engine every year. Look what happened when NBA Live tried to introduce a game starting from scratch with Elite. I just expect a game to be tweaked and refined as it goes along each year with a few new additions not a complete overhaul. I don't need a new feature every year on the back of the box to sell me on a game. It's not like their aren't enough modes to keep people busy already. I do think though sports games should go bi-yearly but that won't happen as they sell regardless.

I don't care about new additions. I just want what's there to be done correctly. I want to feel like I'm actually playing a game of football. Like the previous poster stated, head tracking, O-line/D-line interactions, DB/WR interactions, players not disappearing, players not morphing into postions, Linemen not disengaging their blocks as soon as I touch the sprint button, running the ball to actually set up a successful playaction, programming that makes it so the CPU doesn't know exactly what play I call.

Bascially, I'm just going to have to take a wait and see approach for when the first next gen Madden comes out.

Your right things at this stage should be functioning better with what's been in the game already just refine it.

The one thing I'll never understand is how people pick apart the o-line and d-line and just analyze what's going on... WhoTF is watching that when playing the game? Then they go to instant replay and just sit there complaining about it. Who cares?

Lord I hope you sure do not wait for the 1st next generation Madden...that will make you cry..IMO Madden 06-08 were trash on the 360. I played all those years on Last generation consoles and PC. 09 was a step up, Madden 10 was a quantum leap forward...11 was Madden 10.5 and as dissapointed I am in the Online Franchise Mode of no new additions, I am happy with the offline franchise and hope it will be included in Madden 13.......along with changes in the ONLINE FRANCHISE. Maybe next year.

Well would you agree that pass rushing ratings and blocking ratings mean almost nothing? I mean, I really don't know how the game decides who wins a head to head battle on the line. Doesn't really matter anyway since every player has the exact same moves, and they all stink.
