I like 8 minutes for quicker games, but for most realistic amount of plays I like 12 minutes at 17 sec playclock.

You want to try and get 120 plays from scrimmage. To get there, I'm playing 13 minute quarters. I'm not sure why, but Madden takes a lot longer to play than NCAA. I get the same 120 plays in 8 minute quarters in NCAA.

Also, NCAA makes it much easier to control the clock through the use of gameplay settings. There are a ton of little things that make the gameplay of NCAA so much better.

I think that's because a lot of teams in NCAA use no huddle the entire game so they're getting more plays in. TOP is almost always out of whack in NCAA games versus the CPU.

7 minutes and 20 second accelerated clock is good for time .game lasted aabout 25 minutes. I dont understand how you guys can play for 1 hour each game .

Well when you're a diehard fan of football it's relatively easy.

been playing 9 minutes, getting acceptable stats on offense, but not enough tackles on defense, and to many sacks form 1-2 players, and none from the rest.
