Interested to see the long term results and if the CPU doesn't abuse the system.

As for those saying it's not realistic using no cap, just keep track of your spending and keep it under what the cap would be. I think I'm correct in that EA has a cushion over the real cap, so anyone with a low cap is actually overspending there. And it's not like we have a minimum cap requirement to meet either.

By year 2 it is not some. The entire league is littered with tons of UDFA rated very low making 31 teams rosters. While you manage your team properly.

This is according to dozens upon dozens of people who have tested the mode.

Something that EA has obviously overlooked in their own testing.

Disappointing to say the least.

Uncapped franchise will be my first attempt at making this mode work for me. If it fails (which so far a few have said it seems to have really worked well) 32 team control.

I am loving it just the way it is.
You obviously havent went past year one and looked in the FA pool and the amount of 40-50 rating fake players on teams rosters while they cut 70-80 rated players in place of them...

Can you turn the salary cap OFF at any point DURING a franchise or do you have to do it before you start the franchise?

It's a one-time only thing when you start the franchise.

Guess I'll have to party like this until it can be fixed if it gets fixed. Cause EA doesn't see this as a problem.
