I feel like in crucial moments my fate is completely out of my hands...... I can call the perfect play at the perfect time. My target will be wide open for that crucial first down, and he is guaranteed to drop the ball.... and we are talking Hakeem Nicks. Its just so frustrating. and I would love to blame it on the constant rain in franchise, but I'm watching CPU recievers make 1h spectacular catches all over the field.

They should get rid of the skill system all together and come up with a system that plays players by their real talent/ratings. At least for in Franchise mode.

I don't know what they need to do, but they need to do something, and they need to do something major.

The problems that I have can't be fixed by sliders.

Oh sure, on the surface they can be, but in actuality, I adjust those sliders and it breaks something else.

Offline franchise mode is 100% broken, not because of features (the features are amazing) but because of the on the field dynamic between humans and CPU. Online or offline head to head, human vs. human, Madden is actually pretty good. But it is awful against the CPU.

I can never get realistic sliders for defense no matter what I try. We lead the league in sacks yet were 32nd in pass defense. I don't get it. And each year, there ALWAYS seems to be something that is missing but I never know what it is.

I like Madden enough to buy it every year though. Usually I get bored with it in like a week and throw it under my bed but I've been playing it like 5-8 hours a day since it came out.
