I don't think there's anything that can be done because the one thing that it would take, is never going to happen. That thing being a consistent significant loss in sales of the game. The NFL doesn't give a damn about the quality of the game and if it's a true representation of their sport or not as long as they're collecting they're massive checks from EA. As long as you're not making games that show players getting arrested, or doing drugs or anything like that, they couldn't care less about football's representation.

Re: Beware The Ides Of March For The NFL Exclusive License

Madden 2??? will be nothing but hype and living off a past success and is pretty much the cancer to NFL gaming as we know it. No I don't feel I am being harsh, I am a consumer who wants a choice in what game I can buy from the NFL or I want a Madden that caters to EVERY SPORTS GAMER and none of us are heard as we have read.

If EA would truly listen to us, and the powers that be would actually help us out then things might change, but unfortunately with Madden and Tiburon come a fanbase blind to the fact that without competition there is no sense of urgency and with no worries, they will continue to become comfortable and showcase the elitist attitude that they are untouchable thanks to Roger Goodell's devilish deal and the fact they will continue to generate profits from those who buy the game no matter what.

For the record, I am just a gamer that only buys a few games a year and Football is one of them. EA Hardly has impressed me with their efforts and all I want to see is my favorite sport represented the way it should be in a video game and Tiburon hasn't captured any of that emotion.

Point is, if it's a profit maker, it's stays.

Ford Motor Company made one of the ugliest cars in the US in the 70's, a Pacer. This car looked like a upside down bathtub.

People kept buying the cars, Ford kept making them.

This holds no water with me. Ultimate team should be a separate game if they want to continue to make money on it. I don't want to see it in the game I buy. Give me an NFL experience, not a Pokemon one.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but don't you have to play that game to unlock some of the legends that were advertised?

It is in my personal opinion that what has needed to happen to drop the exclusive agreement has already transpired, time will tell if some of us are right. Those of us in the industry believe it may not be renewed, or at least not anywhere close to the $$$ amount last time.

If it ever ended EA would gain alot more people back imo. I would respect the fact they they know competition would drive them to make a better product. Anyone tells me that Madden is an awesome game is out of their mind. The game could be so much better compared to what's out there for this generation, and why is it not?

Peter Moore can stop talking about the Piracy issue as to why they don't make a PC version of Madden, they know a fan mod would blow them out of the water and expose how laid back their operation truly is.

For 2 Seasons now I have seen the same uniform gripes and player update complaints, presentation issues etc. and they have fallen on deaf ears. Why does EA expect me to pay for a product I have questioned along with other people on this board for a few seasons now, even heard from GC's and one of Tiburon's team, and I am still delivered nothing?

To make it a stand alone game, it cost more money, it's that simple.

ie... Head Coach.

No one is forcing you to experience the Pokemon one.

Agree with Crimson, I believe EA and the NFL will reup if they do, at a lower cost than previsous signings.

Did you or did you not have to play ultimate team to unlock in-game legends to use that were otherwise advertised as available?
