nfl expands rosters from 80-90 so can ea get this into 13?

so wonder if ea can get this into 13? or will it have wait for 14 since it just happen today i know they had expanded rosters in 12 but that was 75 this would be a lot more.

I doubt you see this in M13 given that it just happened today. I'd like to be wrong, but I'm realistic here.

Seeing how they implemented rookie free agents last year adding more doesn't seem like sound strategy.

Since Madden was never at 80, and this was just enacted today with no forewarning, I think this is solidly in the 'doubtful' column.

Madden's offseason has only ever loosely followed the structure of the real NFL offseason. I would love it as long as the tools and opportunities are there to evaluate players and make it worth dealing with cutting 47 (less w/ PS) people when all is said and done by the end of preseason.

The answer depends on where the continued evolution of franchise is at after the jump last season. If offseason is seen as OK and some tweaks are applied while other things get love, then no I don't think we'll see the ability to add 10 more scrubs to our team only to cut them several minutes/4 games later.

The only realistic way to expand rosters would be to add a practice squad to me. Hopefully they balanced out UDFA to make some scrub players worth keeping.

but the 90 includes unsigned drafted players so nett you could be better or worse off depending on draft picks (in reality) in game you hosed.
