If EA wants to put it in as a option that's fine, but I hope they don't kill off the zoom camera for it because right now that is all anyone has(who doesn't like the standard/sky cam) What I find funny is not only is EA's standard cam like a standard cam, they actually have a cam even farther away called the wide cam. The standard cam can already see the sidelines and people in the stands, why would anyone need zoomed out more? Crazy

Fisheye camera would be the perfect experience for us guys that want that on the field, upclose and personal ,in your face football action.

Watched the vid, but I don't have sound at work, so I couldn't hear the points that were made.

In any event, this cam is interesting, but I don't like the way that it looks. It's distorted. I do like what you are trying to accomplish with it, but I don't think this is the way to do it.

I prefer a cam like Backbreaker that is a zoomed field level cam, that allows you to pan via the Right Stick, like every other third person game today. It puts you in the action and it is more realistic as you have to actually look around as opposed to just seeing everything in a distorted globe or from the clouds. First Person would be the most realistic view, but I'd like to see my player actually performing moves, so aesthetically, while more realistic, it isn't as eye pleasing as a close 3rd person view.

So, while I like what Fisheye accomplishes, it isn't the best tool for the job IMO.

You could most certainly look around in Backbreaker. That was the entire premise of the passing game. You could look around on defense as well.

The only time you couldn't look around was as a Runner, but the camera panned depending on the direction you were running to give you a better view.

There were several things that they got wrong with Backbreaker, but the camera was hardly one of them.

I would prefer a camera editor like MLB the Show uses. But this angle does look good.
