Traded Tanard Jackson for Aaron Hernandez in year 2 of my CCM. They were in need of a free safety. They had Steve Gregory starting for them.

I built Miami into a power (went to Superbowl) and Tannehill was up to an 88 OVR. I decided to retire my coach and create a new one and took over the Chiefs. They desperately needed a QB, but couldn't afford to sign a top-flight QB in FA due to the salary cap.

My ex-Dolphins signed RGIII. ???? So I offered the Dolphins 2 3rd round picks (1 this year and 1 next year) for Tannehill and they accepted. LOL! Same year I got an 82 OVR LG for a 4th rounder next year. Not a huge steal, but solidified an aging and subpar OL while I rebuild.

I find that teams with multiple good players at the same position are more willing to trade one of them - usually the one that's older or has lower OVR. And you can can get them at a bargain price.

I was able to pick up for a 4th round pick. As they had Gronk they didn't seem overly fussed about keeping him!
