EA please bring back fair play!!!

I wish the fair play feature was back as well. I try to play sim-style, but playing cheesers (Which seems to be 90% of the online players sadly) results in not only myself have to play unrealistically... But horribly crappy games.

These cheesers most of the time don't even stick out a game when they fail a fourth-and-long conversion.

Stopping the people who play this way isn't hard, they usually aren't very good... It is still annoying regardless, and makes game-play stale and boring. Also extremely frustrating when every damn kick off is an onside, and you have to burn time-outs to change to recover

Wow, I think you just gave people another cheezy strategy. Start out in onside, force a timeout, kick it downfield.

for all you guys who say you play legit, why have you not joined the OS Community? We need some legit sim guys,and maybe if you guys joined up we all can stay away from ranked games. There have been a few knuckleheads but I would welcome more sim guys to the community so we all can stay away from ranked.

The thing I hate about cheesers is that when you shut down their 2 or 3 plays, they quit. Its like clockwork. I no longer play online ranked games. I simply just play games in the OS community. There are a couple of bad apples, but mostly great games to be had.

I'm one of those guys who Hates online sports games and hope they continue to be one more and more cheesy just do I can say " I told ya so"....

Online needs separate everything for arcade/sim for online....

The part I don't get is while I want to win and enjoy winning, it's the process or journey to the win which is the most enjoyable for me. Meaning, I have played in light competitive scenes for a few years for a couple dollars or prizes so in that environment I understand the "W" being all that matters to move on to the next round. However, in online ranked with absolutely nothing to be won except the game itself, the whole fun is playing the game. So considering that, I don't understand the desire to exploit the program to get the "W" as soon as possible.

There are countless players in online ranked that desire nothing more than to get a "W" as quickly as possible and when it is evident that they can't and would need to play an entire "boring" game of football, they quit. This ish makes absolutely zero sense to me, considering Madden is supposed to be a football simulation video game. There are a vast amount of gamers out there online, which their sole desire is to win, football be damned, in a football game, lol.

The worst part is that EA Tiburon is intentionally catering to these gamers for profit, without providing any factory settings or factory venues for gamers that want to play football as best they can. Madden is a joke as a football game and the punchline is best delivered in online ranked games. EA Tiburon should either provide a "hardcore"/simulation setting and a Fair play lobby or create a separate game using Madden's tech but created for those that want to play football.

I hope you are joking or something because for me the "fun" is in the challenge and satisfaction comes from winning at that challenge. They are two separate things in any video game or game, for me.

I know I can beat a newborn baby at basketball so it wouldn't be fun or satisfying to win against them. Likewise in Madden, I find it "fun" playing a challenging game of football win or lose but find satisfaction in the win.
