It happened my WR won it! He had 150 rec, 2350 yds, 22 td's + he had 250 yds rushing and 4 rushing td's.

Not even really true. He won the Pro Football Writer's MVP, which is pretty meaningless for this discussion.

The AP MVP, which everyone thinks of as the actual award (the one Peyton has won 4 times etc.), was won by Boomer Esiason in 1988 - the year Rice won his PFWMVP.

Just goes to show you how ridiculous it is for a receiver to win it when the GOAT can't do it. It is a QB award.

There has never been a WR that won the TRUE MVP award.

A QB, RB, and some rare Defensive players can put a team on their back and win. A WR can not.
