Matt Stafford or anyone else disappear on you?

I've had this happen to me with a running back. He wasn't valuable to my team so I ignored it. I can see this being a major issue if players of import are disappearing.

It would appear that this is the same effect that occured in Madden 13.

What happens is that some players simply retire, but they do it silently and it doesn't get reported. For some reason, not everyone gets a storyline for their retirement.

So some guys 'disappear' -- I guess Vick tends to retire after year 1, and he tends to do it silently.

I played 7 seasons deep in Madden 13 and I can say for sure that every off season some guys retire 'outloud' and some do it silently.

As for Stafford, I'm truly not sure about that, as he would not have retired. Unless...he died.

there is the "transactions" section now that has retirements included in it. So if guys are retiring silently, it should still show up in there.

so yea, OP and the other person with the issue. See if you can go back and look at transactions from the off season. If you already started year 2 it may not let you go back that far to look though...

same here simmed twice to see if i could see an injury for vick and nope nothin he just dissapears as does carson palmer also,in previous madden games you get to the retirement section an see who all is retiring,this is strange
