Weird. As with any slider set they are a base and each should adjust to their skill level and whatnot.

I can't score but I can keep the AI off the board so these are working well for me and low in the score columns. If anything I am going to bump up the user and AI offense at some point.

But if you are putting up a dozen runs, consistently, then it is time to tweak from the base to make your hitting more difficult and if they are mashing you to a dozen make their hitting less effective.

Sliders are subjective because of each person's play style. Play a series of games, 3,4,5,6 etc, and see what the average hits per game, runs per game, hr per game are. Then adjust from there.

This is a great game. Really like it.

Ok sounds like a plan. I think what my problem is, is that I swing at most pitches I think are strikes making alot of balls go in play. And I also think that I have gotten quite good at timing pitches.

So one solution could be rising AI pitch speed.

About the opponent mashing me, have any suggestions so it doesn't happen

Nibble nibble nibble. work counts. don't be afraid to miss and maybe end up walking a guy here and there.

You think these are tough to keep the ai off the board. you should try MKharsh's 2k12 sliders, those will teach (FORCE) you to learn how to pitch. Great set. Was really tough.

I remember my first time with his set I gave up like 18 runs. Then I started pitching. Change speeds, work the zone, stay out of the middle. I usually walk about 3 guys a game give or take (not counting intentional). Just nibble nibble.

As my old college coach said and still says, "It's hard to hit a bad ball good". So true.

Use that when facing these AI cats. If you throw low power in the middle, GONE! Gotta try to get that perfect, although I get like 10 perfects a game, but if you don't make sure you're powered up and hit that corner. Take a trip if rattled.

Use your bullpen! Check out my video from the JMC roster thread, game 1 (Still with baserunning speed at 0 or 5 in this video), this is how I pitch.

Game 3. Pit @ Ari

Game 4. Cin @ St. Louis
4-3 STL. Walkoff in 9th

Game 5. Min @ KC
3-2 KC. Walkoff in the 9th

Ok thanks for the advice. When I'm pitching I usually use the suggested pitch unless it shows yellow or red then I use a different one and then I throw it close to or in the yellow box put up by the catcher(Regardless if it's down the middle or 1 foot outside the box)
