It's cool if it doesn't bother you. Some people are ok with mediocrity, and that's not a shot at you.... but that's what I see when I see this game in these images.

Whoever is doing the art at 2k needs a better eye. NBA 2k players got shafted by the horrible attempt at "pink" for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The game would look YEARS better with an appropriate color palette. And you don't realize that now, but if I showed you the same image with the RIGHT colors, you'd see it.

I think it's more that I was slightly looking forward to this feature (aside from the pitch type being textual) before knowing it would pop up beforehand for certain batters on certain pitches; also, to hear that a lot of the game's prominent features is based on the pitcher-batter interface and this will be one of the highlighted back-of-the-box features (along with My Player mode), it's sad that I won't even apply two of the biggest things they worked most on, if that makes sense.

It's like if they had a Spanish option for audio. Would I use it? No. Is it a problem? Well, it kind of is. You see, they would have to spend a lot of time, resources, and memory to put in said audio, when it could have been spent improving the actual English commentary. I hope that little analogy makes sense.

And finally, if this is defaulted in online play, I would prefer that neither I nor the other player use/abuse this feature.

Somebody has been paying attention... This game has gone thru so many Color Palette changes since jumping Next-Gen that it's a joke. Either they are too bright (2K9) or they are too dull (2K8) IMO the best color this game has had was 2k7. What bothered me with 2k7 was the Lighting was too strong causing bats too look like light-sabers & scoreboards to look like mirrors.

Looking @ these screens they've changed Color Palette again as I stated earlier. Why developer's don't develop games with Accurate Colors in mind is baffling, especially when these games are made to played on HDTV's.

I half agree with you about the people picking the game apart. I agree with the people who think the colors are off cause they are, BUT.. I also think that 2K10 is lookin' much better than 2K9 did. I'm really curious about the animations and I'm lookin' forward to some gameplay footage.

Yup. 2k7 was the most "accurate" of all of these.

What makes me wonder is how others don't see it and realize just how off the colors are. That looks NOTHING like the traditional Yankees blue.

It just is kind of a bummer, because if was implemented a little more realistically, it could, IMO, have been a great addition to this game that would have better resembled the how hitters pick up pitches. The way it is now, it's like you taking BP and the coach is telling you what's coming next. There is no "read and react" like there should be.

I thought MVP nailed it with their timing (right as the pitcher was bringing his arm forward) and have never really heard any complaints about it, so I was hoping this would be similar with the twist of words flashing instead of colors.

Who knows, maybe we'll find out that you can also tweak the timing of the message, and all will be good, but we only have what little pieces of info we are given to speculate on.
