Well, so much for Pelf stepping up to the challenge of being the #1 starter while Johan is out.... Dude's gotten bent over both starts so far.

Its only the first two starts though so I wouldn't be worried yet. I like the fact that the Mets showed heart today, if they do that all season then I'll be happy most of the season.

Yeah I liked that too. Even though I didn't see it. I was downstairs watching the game, then after it was 7-2, I figured, you know what, I know how this is gonna end, and went upstairs to play on my PS3. After awhile I decided to run mlb.tv on there, and I saw that they had tied it. Last year they would have just rolled over and died.

Pelfrey has had his chances.. he just doesnt have "it" to be a top 1 or 2 guy IMO..

like mentioned above, at least they had heart to battle back, tie it up etc.

Totally agree about Big Pelf. Niese is their #1 guy. His stuff is electric. Him and Dickey are going to have carry the load until Johan comes back or until they get someone else in to help.
