2015 Houston Astros

Any Astros fans out there? Man I'm more excited this year than I have been in years about my Astros. I think they will be a pretty decent team this year. For the first time in a while money was spent in the off-season. The bullpen should be much improved and I'm excited to see possible improvement from some of the young guys. Really looking forward to seeing Springers development in particular with hopefully a full year at the major league level.

Hey, doyce. Fellow Astros fan here.

Despite the loss tonight, I've been impressed with this team. The pitching has been fantastic (so nice to have a competent bullpen). If the bats get going, they are going to be tough.

I was beginning to worry I was the only one which is nothing new to me since I live the Dallas fort worth area.
I would have to agree, the pitching has been great thus far. It's really been a joy to watch. Even in the lose last night I believed they could come back and win which is something I haven't felt in a long time. The old Astros of 10 years ago were always in the game and I always felt they could come back and at least make in interesting. I really thought when they got a couple on against Rodney we were coming back to sweep. Just wasn't meant to be in this one.

Jake marisnick is really becoming a player I LOVE to watch and its also great to have lowrie back. Every time lowrie has come up in a big spot it seems like he gets an RBI or at least walks.

I agree about last night. I thought they would tie it up when they had runners on the corners and one out.

Marisnick and Lowrie have been great. So has Valbuena, of late. Gattis, on the other hand, has been comically bad.

Yes, he was! Hopefully Feldman will have a decent outing today and keep them in it.

Re: 2015 Houston Astros

Good outing from Feldman; Altuve and Springer are coming to life at the plate. Astros win 9-3, improving to 10-7 on the season and 4-1 on this 9 game road trip.

Altuve has hit in 28 straight against the A's, tying for second all-time for an Astros player hitting in consecutive games against one opponent. Club record is 31.
