Re: Operation Sports Full Minors 2011 - Recruiting

Beautiful...we're moving pretty well.
Importing takes a bit of time...it's great...but 1500 players...!
I guess it's better than when I actually edited all 1500!.....and Ridin' did the same with his set in the past....
MUCH better now working together.
Ridin' is a friggin' beast with editing.
I'm finished with Toronto with faces..
bodhiball is working on Philly and N.Y. N
Gagnon...want to work on some faces?
I definitely need guys who can work on faces...!(anyone)
Let me know and thanks!

M.K.

You... Guys... Rock....

I'd love to help out, but I'm new here so I'd have to review the entire thread since I wouldn't even know where to get started (of, course if somebody wants to point me in the right direction...)

In any event, thanks a ton to all who have a hand in working on this.

Welcome to OS!

I would say if you wanted to help out, either talk to knight165 and he can point you in the right direction, or go back to the very first page and pick a team you want to help with. Then contact the person editing the team and see if they need help. Hope that gets you started.

Guys, have a question about potential ratings.

Zach Cox of the Cardinals, I have him as a preliminary B, but I am having second thoughts about maybe making him an A? What do you think?

Dear Knight,

Here is an update regarding Detroit.

40 players are already completely done faces and all. Ivanhoe has done 20 and I have done 20.

Re: Operation Sports Full Minors 2011 - Recruiting

Knight,

I'm just about finished. A few more pitchers to rate. I'm going to export tomorrow and send you the player files. I'll run some tests and then I may do a little more tweaking before. And I'll probably upload a Giants Full Minors into the roster vault.

As for the faces of the players. I spent some time on anyone with A or B potential. After that, I just got the details of skin color, hair color, head shape etc. I didn't do any shaping of features like noses or ears.

I feel pretty good about batting stances for the position players. I nailed a lot of them.

For the pitching motions, I got a lot of them, but there were a few I couldn't find anything on. I just kind of picked one out.

Pitch types, found most of them. Just a few I couldn't find info on. So I went with the basics.

When I send you the player files, I'll also send you a list of the players with what is missing. For the most part though, I think my set will be ready to go.
