Speed-75

And he has played just fine defensively for me, so I think it is good there
why does he have such a low speed rating? the kid can fly and should be in the high 80's perhaps even low 90's.

I believe in last year's game he as in the 70s with speed, so I went around there. I'll take a look in just a few to see where they had him last year.

Re: 2011 Atlanta Braves Edits

I think you guys are nuts on some of those ratings for Schafer.

Keep in mind what he's done since he injured his hand in early '09... nothing.

In just over 300 minor league(mostly AAA) plate appearances last year he hit a whopping .201, with 1hr and an anemic .255 slugging percentage. And speaking of his speed, sure he has above average wheels, but out of 22 stolen base attempts last year, he was only successful 12 times.

The guy was a really hot prospect a couple of years ago before the HGH suspension, but he really hasn't proven a single thing since. I doubt he even sniffs a bench spot on the big league club this year. And if he doesn't turn things around in the next couple of years, he's might not be playing professional baseball much longer.

I really hope he's able to turn things around, because he really seemed like he'd be a good CF'er just a couple of years ago. But if you guys want a realistic representation of Schafer in this game, some of those ratings aren't even close.

His wrist bothered him all of last year, and the Braves have been pretty impressed with him this spring. He has had some bad luck in some of the spring training games I've watched, hitting pretty sharp line drives right at guys.

Those ratings put him as a .250 hitter with about 10 homers, that's not exactly going nuts if he is healthy, and he will likely be more in the .240 5-6 range according to how much he plays for people. Those are going off of Knights ratings.

As I said Knight has the final say, so there is a great chance that he will lower it down some.

Just lowered his contact 15 on each, so yay

so, knight wanted to lower his contact rating 15 points on each side?

that's a bit of a bummer. i realize his stats have been pretty awful the past couple years, but i really believe that's been a wrist issue and that he'll be a different player this year. only time will tell though.

Dan Uggla- Gary Matthews Jr.

Closest I can find this year. Last year Delmon Young worked but his stance was changed in 11.
