What bothers me more than those 99s are some players with A potential that I find hard to swallow, such as Danny Haren and Ricky Romero.

Yes, it would be great if possible. I wonder why they don't allow it since you are able to edit overall ratings, which is done by editing attributes.

Since you can't change potentials, what about lowering the overalls of people whose potential shouldn't be that high by a little so when they progress, they'll top out similar to where they would in real life? Just a thought, doesn't bother me either way.

I'm more worried about regression than I am with those older players progressing, but that's not a bad idea!
