Definitely a ''noobish" question, but "pitch editing" is basically creating a pitchers true repertoire, as well as control, velocity, etc., right?

I really like where the hitters averages are after a few sims, but some could use a minor boost, and this seems like a nice way of counteracting - without making the hitters have too much control of that.

Yeah. The OSFM guys only touch the per 9, clutch, and stamina ratings i believe. The seanjeezy pitch edits goes into each individual pitch for velo, command, usage, and movement.

Josh Donaldson needs to be way better. According to Fangraphs, he's the number 6 player this year and number 3 last year.

I would say suggest some edits instead of just a blanket "way better"

I think these types of ratings they used are killer for a guy like Josh Donaldson, considering he just recently broke out after 1.5 years of mediocre MLB ball.

His preseason ZiPS projection seems to heavily weigh his 2012 season, the updated projection is much better (don't know if those are being used for the hybrid roster though).

His defense should be in the top 3. Maybe raise his reactions by 15 and fielding by 8. Also, his power should be around 65 for pvr and 75 pvl.

As a twins fan, I love what you guys did with the twins roster. Interesting to see what Willard said about the overalls being true. Mauer is actually a very good player in this roster with 80s contact and 80s fielding but his 40 power rating knocks him down to a 78 overall. So its true to say DONT LOOK AT OVERALL.

A couple changes I would suggest would be giving Brian Dozier a power boost (as was mentioned earlier)... he is after all having an allstar caliber season with 11 bombs already. Also I think he should get a bit of a fielding boost as well, he's always been regarded as one of the best fielding 2B in the game.

Trevor Plouffe probably needs a very small contact and power boost, but where you have him now isn't too far off, he's just doing a bit of raking this season (finally), and is leading the league in doubles.

Also Danny Santana's fielding may be a tad too high, still fairly raw as a SS and i feel his fielding and especially arm strength is inflating him a bit.

Pitching wise, Kyle Gibson should have a higher stamina rating as he's gone through 7 a couple times this year, should definitely have better per 9 ratings and clutch than Correia and certainly Pelfrey lol.

Finally more of a wish but Phil Hughes has been insane this year. 4-0 in his last 6 with no walks surrendered in his last 44.2 innings. Possibly a boost to his per 9 and clutch as he has become unquestionably the twins best starter. Also Sam Deduno should now be listed as a starter, and Sam Fuld should be number 1 rather than number 5.

Thanks boys, as always a fantastic job! These are all minor details that I just noticed being a hardcore fan of the team. On another note, I'm happy with Buxton and Sano exactly where you have them. Thanks again for all the hard work this year.

To be honest, I really think Josh Donaldson, Andrew McCutchen, and Carlos Gomez are some of the tougher judgment calls. Donaldson and Gomez have exploded onto the scene for 2 years and yet when you look at their attributes, nothing really seems really out of whack.

Donaldson is a really valuable player, but it's not like he's hitting 40 dingers a year or hitting .320. He's not speed incarnate either. That said, I wouldn't be opposed to giving him a boost in power and defense although I'd be happy to use the current Donaldson.

Gomez and McCutchen...it's just important not to worry about their OVR and then it makes sense.
