P.A.D's Hall of Fame Sliders for those of us who think AllStar is just too ea...
I created this thread in the Current Gen Slider Forum as well, figured I'd move it here as well for those who play on the PS3 version seeing as the gameplay is somewhat universal this year regardless of console.
I've been playing the Show for a few years now and this is the second consecutive year that I found Allstar difficulty to really be a walk in the park. I don't want to be able to shut down the CPU with minimal focus, I want the CPU to hit mistakes and hit them hard. I also want to maintain realism. On default, HoF difficulty can be excruciating, with weaker hitters like Erik Kratz and Jose Altuve going yard off you regularly. We need to find a happy medium between having a CPU that forces you to focus while maintaining realism. So I'll try my hand at the slider game. Please report back any issues you may be having so that we may discuss collectively in order to find a nice, realistic set of sliders.

A few notes:
- pitch speed is fine at default. I'm 34 years old and can ascertain whether to swing and not to swing.
- I think CPU throws strikes are fine at default. I average about 1-4 walks per game depending on my patience. They will walk you.
- the wind sheer is ludicrous in this game. Routine cans of corn get caught up in the wind and go out of the park with way too much regularity.
- CPU power and solid hits are toned down so that people like Altuve and Dexter Fowler and Kratz and Brian Roberts aren't hitting bombs with ease. This may need additional tuning.
- I use pulse pitching. Meter pitching is WAY too erratic this year.
- you'll notice I only did minor tweaks. Why? Because the game doesn't play badly on HoF default, it's a tough challenge, but certain minor adjustments need to be made so the CPU doesn't go nuts and bash you around the park on a regular basis.
