You cant go wrong with that monitor.

I use it for the PS3, 360 and PC in my office.

It is fantastic, and makes this game look just stunning!

Re: MLB 09 The Show Demo Available, Post Impressions Here

So FINALLY I finished dling and installing the demo. I start the game and switch over to the Rays. Also switched over to the much heard about legend mode. First batter for the Ray's, I get a a single. I'm thinking "wtf, I thought hitting was going to be hard".

Well lol was I in for a surprise. Care to guess how many hits I got after that lead off hit? If you guess 0 you'll be right lmao! I ended up losing 7-0 giving up like 12 hits in 4 innings. Safe to say I was humbled. Played another game and lost 3-0, this time I was the Philly. Got yet another 1 hit game which should have been a error imo. I switched over to classic pitching and did better, be it not by much lol.

I actually had no trouble check swinging my batters. I'll say I did a check swing about 70-80% of the time I wanted too. I can't wait for the full game, it's going to be so amazing. Going to start and keep it on legend mode. Just glad there are only 27 days in February!!

Yes, like I said, it is NOT the TV. People see it on even CRTs which have NO input lag.

The reason the "input lag fix" seemed to work, is because you are forcing 1080p, and running already at a lower framerate than the 720p 60.

I just ran it at 1080p and it looked fine, l but I also noticed it was no longer running 60 FPS and was more around the 30 FPS mark.

Rest assured, Russell said it would not be in the final product. I am sure their dev kits see frame anomalies and it obviously is not present in the final product.

Again, it is not the TV, input lag has nothing to do with frame rate.

I'm not a fan of it being slow. I found myself swinging TOO EARLY for 93 mph fastballs, that shouldn't happen. That's the one major gripe I have for baseball games is their pitch speed. Some have it right, and some are just way too slow and not at a realistic speed I'm used to. Gonna go back into the demo and tweak some sliders and see how it works out.

Okay, so the pitch speeds are indeed slower this year... good to hear. I thought I just sucked at the demo.

I got my timing down just fine in 08 but was WAY ahead of everything in the demo. I'll just adjust to it.

right but you cant say that you are sure that the final wont have any issues when the team that was out there and members of scea said that they dont see the frame rate issue...so how can you think it will not be there based on that...

because they said that the build they played had no issues?

they are sayign the same thign about the demo..

I dont see any issues....but i know some do
