So he is the better player because he is the better contact hitter.

Gotcha.

You can use anecdotes all day...

Hamilton rakes at a higher clip, and plays better D. End of.

Gotcha.
"contact hitter" Josh Hamilton, you're confusing yourself.

Okay, so he hits for average and has a better range factor.

Gotcha.

Okay then.

Last year Hamilton had 32 home-runs and 130 RBI batting 3rd on a team with Michael Young and Ian Kinsler in front of him having a .339 and .375 OBS respectively while playing at Texas for half of his games.

Sizemore hit 33 home-runs and 90 RBI batting lead-off and playing at Progressive Field for half of his games.

Are you happy?

You forgot his superior slugging percentage and the old "lighttower power" that the scouts drool over... but then we're not going with the anecdotal and opinions here.

Oh, Hamilton's arm is better too. Let's not short change the lad.

RBIs are a BS stat. Hamilton had more of those, but I'd never use it to argue a point.
