Those stats are pretty hard to read in that format, but what are you trying to show? Hamilton's the best hitter of the three, and the numbers you just posted show that. All you can hold against Hamilton is small sample size, but he's clearly outperformed Sizemore.

Sizemore is a career .279 hitter, and only hit .268 last year. And he doesn't have anywhere close to the pop Hamilton has.

Hamilton is arguably a better fielder, shown by his superior range factor last year.

Sizemore gets a lot of hype, and has done for years. Good player, yes. Better than Hamilton? Not a chance.

So, I'd like to know if the ratings are all COMPLETELY numbers based, as Russell has said, why won't SCEA tell us what numbers they actually used?

This would also help IMMENSELY with creating/editing players, so we could know what numbers to give players to get the stats we'd like them to have.

SCEA, why not let us know how you got these ratings, if they're totally numbers based with no human touches?

Since you can't bother to try and read the stats, allow me to for you.

Sizemore has been a 20-20 guy every year he's been a regular. I believe the only player to do that in his many seasons was A-Rod and maybe it was Willie Mays? He has two gold gloves, something that Hamilton may or may not be able to do.

Pop is really up for debate. Sizemore has a great bat, especially for a leadoff hitter, which he isn't. Sizemore is going to have a legit shot at 40-40 sometime soon, something Hamilton could dream of.

Sizemore IS the better overall player, Hamilton is probably the better pure hitter. To throw Granderson in there was hilarious, and saying he's better than Sizemore was a foolish statement.

If Hamilton or Granderson were running around with Chief Wahoo on his hat, you'd argue they were better. I know the home town bias.

The stats are clear. Hamilton wins handily.

I hope you didn't actually use Gold Gloves to form an argument. Bush league.

No I wouldn't.

The fact is, Sizemore IS the better overall player.

Tell me this. Hamilton is the better hitter. Can you give me one other thing that Hamilton is better than Sizemore in? How about Granderson? Also, from Baseball Prospectus:

According to the 2009 Baseball Prospectus, Sizemore is only the third player in MLB history to establish single-season totals of at least 30 homers, 30 stolen bases, 50 doubles and 100 walks at some point in his career. The others were Bobby Abreu and Alex Rodriguez.

Sizemore has already notched at least 20 homers and 20 stolen bases in each of his full seasons. Last year he became just the 10th American League player to go 30-30. And beginning this year, people will realistically look for him to become just the fifth player all-time to go 40-40. Only Jose Canseco, Barry Bonds, A-Rod and Alfonso Soriano have done that.

I like Hamilton but Sizemore is the better player here. No doubt about it. Oh by the way saying Hamilton has more pop is kinda ridiculous, yeah he is stronger but look where he plays. If Sizemore played in Texas he'd put those numbers up too.

Please refer to the stats. They're there for a reason.
