Ebbetts Field for sure I agree with your first choise! Better yet if we could move another franchise back to Brooklyn in franchise mode and play there.

I think it was called Front Page Sports, anyway a few years back a pretty good baseball game. I actually set the Dodgers up in Brooklyn again along with the Giants in NY. They did not have Ebbets Field but I stole Tiger Stadium from Detroit to be the home of Brooklyn.

I moved the Mets out to LA (Hollywood Stars) and I forgot who I moved to SF, but renamed them the SF Seals in honor of an old minor league team.

I think the Astrodome would be an interesting pick, but I generaly tend to like the old parks better, just because you really wouldn't have ahd a chance to see a real game there.

Some of these stadiums, I don't think, would translate to well to a video game. Bland and ugly with not much personality. Tropicana and where the Jays play comes to mind. For me it would have to be something with ads all over the walls, like the old day, and grass.

Tropicana and the Skydome (Rogers Centre) are pretty much the last of the multipurpose designs to be built for MLB teams. Though Tropicana is especially peculiar because I'm not even sure I'd call it multipurpose. It was built in an attempt to attract MLB, and yet almost seems like they built it with the thought in mind that... What are we going to do with it if MLB doesn't come here??? It's kind of a half-hearted attempt.

The story all changed with Camden Yards in Baltimore of course, and the era of multipurpose... Function over beauty... Has thankfully come to a close...

Though I'd still like to see the Astrodome and Riverfront...

I wish they would ad a classic stadium for every team. I for one would love County Stadium, seeing the Beer Barrel again and that huge black and white scoreboard would be awesome!

I feel the same way about the Astrodome. I have tons of sentimental value for it, but that place was a dump.

I dont think it started of as a dump just with age it turned into one. I never watched any sports game there in person only when the rodeo was held there and the hide-out bar. I agree completely, it's deteriorated pretty bad.
