Huh...

One of us is seeing/not seeing things. Maybe someone else can chime in here. I'd hate to think there's some feature I've been missing out on all this time.

Could you be more specific? Like, is the icon/brightness over top of the pitch name, or only bordering the pitch confidence bar, etc.?

Describe like I've never seen it before...

It happens with adaptive pitching intelligence, its the catcher calling the pitch for you. They also call location with the glove icon. If you have API on, you will see it appear on your pitch select menu.

I assumed that he meant that this happened only in tough situations, hence, why he chose this thread to ask it.

I use the API, so I know exactly what you mean. I figured Noid meant something completely different.

I think if you don't have it turned on all the time then it will come up in important or clutch situations.
