    Franchise Problem is Addressed

Yesterday it was discovered that a major bug is present in MLB 11: The Show's Franchise mode, one that is practically identical to a bug in MLB 10 that plagued the mode as well. Essentially after just a couple years (in this instance going into the 2014 season) the free agency list is populated by

Very nice to see this, glad SECA is fixing the problem

Well now that's a releif. But, and this is the million dollar question, will we have to restart our franchises for the patch to take effect?

That's true but he never came back to give an update when there was a lot of speculation as to what was gonna be done about it. Plus, he didn't think it was a bug anyhow seeing certain FA's not signed after 2-3 years into franchise mode. Glad to see it's being addressed though.

How is this article and more or less speculation than anything we've read anywhere else?

Old news, new news, whatever. New to some, old to others.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

This brings me back to 2010 where SCEA was looking for some hardcore Show players to test the game. Paid and all. Did they actually set this through? Not to bash on the game or anything because I love it but just just wondering

                        Re: Franchise Problem is Addressed

Hopefully they relaize it's not simply an issue of training or base player ratings but mainly an issue minor league players not having their rights controlled by their team for the proper amount of time(6 years) and arbitration salaries being proper.

Not really sure why the other thread was closed when SCEA adressing the issue was already known back on like page 2 of the other thread and there was some great discussion about the broken arbitration/team controlling a player issue for 6 years.

addressing it and fixing it are two different things.

Agreed. We already knew from the response in the other thread that they were taking a look at the issues. I don't see this as any kind of confirmation that they will actually be able to fix it. With that being said, my fingers are still crossed and I also appreciate the fact that the devs are quick to respond to feedback on this board.
