I've wondered this before as well. I'm hoping that some day we'll have each player wear his team's uniform during the All-Star game.

If you see the message they were replying to, it clearly pointed out that someone (likely you) finally understood and answered the question.

As for stadiums, I believe the show does it randomly for each year following the current year because as of right now, 2013 and 2014 are still in a bidding process so they have not been selected.
