Has the Show made you a fan of a new team?

Over the years yes it has, I have started paying attention to new teams every year. Im a Cubs fan and have grown to like the Reds, Blue Jays, Royals over the last three years, and have gained interest in other teams as well

I am just a baseball fan. Born and raised Cubs fan, will always be a Cubs fan but I love the sport and watch a lot of baseball (usually a few games a night) and have a special place for the Diamondbacks. Loved them for a while now, really enjoyed watching their youth come up.

Teams like the Nationals and Royals (my "local" team for TV) with good young talent are always fun to watch. I'd say fantasy baseball has more of an impact than The Show, but The Show has never hurt.

I wouldn't say this game has made me a fan of any other team, but indirectly with the OSFM rosters, I've come to actually care about what's going on with other teams, so that way I'm aware of any note-worthy players coming up and not being caught off guard with the "who the heck is X player?"

I used to be only a die hard Braves fan, but when I picked up 06 The Show I tried out the Twins with career mode (a mode with RTTS and franchise combined). Now, I still love the Braves, but they have lost position with me as I am now a huge fan of the Minnesota Twins.

New Team Logo and Stadium in Miami gave me a team to cheer for in the NL east. The show, not so much but I could see how that would have an effect.

Blue Jays and Indians forever though

As a Yankees fan living in Virginia, I always end up playing a lot of games at Nationals Park in the Show. And this year, with Strasburg and Harper, it is a lot of fun to play as them and just as much to watch them in real life. I'll probably go to DC when the Yankees play the Nationals there in June.
